Counselor's Corner, hosted by Attorney Charles E. Brooks (Chuck) and Professor Barbara J. Quinan has been serving the community on WCBM since 1997. Together they have interviewed many political leaders and have touched on legal issues ranging from DWI to divorce.

Chuck and Barbara's listeners are treated to a variety of topics each week and occasionally some humorous stories. Tough issues have been tackled such as Senate Bill 509 which was put to referendum in Baltimore County due to the persistent influence of many of their recent guests. From Senate Bill 509 to psychological issues, Counselor's Corner continues to make an impact on the community.

Chuck Brooks

Barbara J. Quinan
Barbara J. Quinan has a private practice in Towson, Maryland. She is a psychologist as well as an adjunct professor at the Community College of Baltimore. She completed her internship at Epoch Community Counseling in Dundalk where she specialized in addictions. Some of the areas she addresses in therapy are spousal abuse, depression, alcohol and drug counseling, marital counseling and family therapy. Numerous attorneys request her services for alcohol and drug evaluations for their clients. Ms. Quinan is also an accomplished writer for the Times Herald newspaper in the Baltimore area and has had numerous short stories and poetry published.
